In this Place, we strive to embody The Great Work envisioned by Thomas Berry, C.P.  “The work of ensuring a just, healthy, beautiful, and sustainably life-giving world for future generations.” Drawing inspiration from Pope Francis and discerning the movement of God’s Spirit: We will listen carefully, and intentionally respond to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor.  We will create a Place of sacred hospitality, prayer, and restoration. And we will provide a space for encounter, dialogue, education and service, working toward an integral human ecology.

 

Faith

We need to be intentional about our spirituality. At Thomas Berry Place, we invite you to prayerfully consider how deeply you are loved by your God, and how you are challenged in turn to live that love in the world.
